Mindfulness helps us to become aware and mindful of all the things we experience, and takes us out of our autopilot mode, so that we can begin to experience the beauty of our everyday life. This meditation exercise is a mindful shower exercise with soft shower sounds of falling water, where you will stay mindful for the entire shower, and observe every physical sensation of what you feel, hear, see, and smell. Take in everything and learn to connect with your senses. Mindfulness is a great way of experiencing the world, and mindfulness can be done everywhere and with everything such as the shower. A shower a the perfect opportunity to heal and cleanse the body and mind, as it is our quiet and peaceful time alone… our time of solitude and healing, so why not use this time to do the meditation of the day.
